Feeling a little better today-not so sore and my teeth and jaw have stopped throbbing.  I'm hoping the head, neck, and shoulders follow close behind!  I think the jogging has helped me from getting so sick I can't function-at least that's what I keep telling myself.  Definitely a better run today.  Did .25 mile warm-up, jogged 2.5 miles, then did a .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 34:00-how cool is that???

Felt pretty good today, but still can't seem to get my breathing down-I'm guessing the rearranging of my entire torso might have something to do with that.  Did .25 mile warm-up, jogged 1.5 miles, took a potty break, jogged 1 mile, then finished with a .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 33:54

Went for a nice run with Marion today along the 5k route for the onion days race.  It felt pretty good.  No idea what the time was.

Feeling okay today.  My left calf muscle is mad at me for some reason, so I didn't get nearly the jogging distance I wanted.  I did go a little further on the walking though-trying to walk out the calf muscle.  Maybe I just need to eat more bananas.  Did .20 mile warm-up, jogged 1.55 miles, then walked 2 miles with the speed varying between 4.6 and 5.1 mph.  Total time was 43:10.  Working on stretching the calves for the rest of the day.

I was a little leery about running today.  I did some extra stretching and used the foam roller on my left calf-talk about PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I rolled it out for about 10 minutes, then thought I'd give the run a shot.  It went great!  No knee problems and the calf felt just fine.  Did a .25 mile warm-up, jogged 2.85 miles, then did a .5 mile cool down.  I didn't even need to have a potty break!  Total time was 37:10.  Don't know if I'm running tomorrow-I have my ultrasound at 10 am, so we'll see if I fit the run in beforehand.

After serious issues with my calf last week, my chiropractor suggested laying off using it too much for a few days.  He said I pulled the muscle behind my calf and had me do some ultrasound therapy on it.  I think it really helped.  I've been rolling it and stretching it a lot too.  Today I decided to give it a go, and it worked for the most part.  Toward the end I started feeling the calf again, so I shaved off a little of the run and just walked the rest of the time.  Did a .25 warm-up, jogged 1 mile, took a potty break, jogged 1.25 miles, then walked .5 miles.  Total time was 31:31.

I really hope that whatever I did to piss off my left leg goes away.  My quads started hurting yesterday for no reason at all.  My chiropractor suggested I start doing some intense massage therapy on my back/upper hip muscles.  I think I might take his advice this week.

The headaches don't seem to want to go away.  The tension in my head, neck, and shoulders is getting ridiculous.  I WANT MY IBUPROFEN!!!!  I'm starting to think maybe it's how I'm stretching my neck and shoulders, so I'm attempting a whole new level of stretching this week.  No matter where I am, I'm trying to stretch and work my neck and shoulders.  If this doesn't help, I don't know what will-the heating pad and naps aren't really working for me, and tylenol makes it worse.

On a nicer note, my run today was alright.  My right calf is feeling kind of tight-another reason to revamp the stretching.  Did .25 mile warm-up, jogged 1.35 miles, walked .4 miles, jogged 1.25 miles, then did a .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 39:36.

I think the stretching is making a difference.  I didn't have a massive headache in the afternoon for the first time in almost 6 weeks yesterday!  Yippee!!!!!  My calves are feeling mostly back to normal too.  The run went really well today.  I upped the speed a little bit and I think my body liked it better than the jogging-my breathing felt more natural and I went farther than I have in a while.  

Did a .25 mile warm-up, jogged 3 miles at 6.2 mph, then did a .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 38:26.

Took the kids on a walk-guestimate was 1.25 miles.

Day two of no headaches!  I really hope this new stretching thing works. Another good run today.  Did .25 mile warm-up, jogged 3 miles at 6.2 mph, then did a .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 38:03.

I'm really not feeling the love today, but I persevered.  Darn candy corn.  Feet were feeling weird, left calf felt weird, and neck felt weird.  There were lots of little breaks here and there to take a sip of water or stretch out the calves, but I did it.  Did a .25 mile warm-up, jogged 1.75 miles at 6 mph, walked .25 miles, jogged 1.25 miles, then did a slow .5 mile cool down.  Total time was 41:50.  I think I'll be doing a lot of stretching today.  Maybe it's just a Monday thing.

Definitely better than yesterday.  My calves and the arches of my feet still hurt, but I think that's more a vitamin issue than anything else-bananas here I come!  Something is going on with the right side of my stomach.  I'm still trying to figure out what.  We took Tyson to the zoo yesterday for his birthday, so I did a lot more walking than originally planned.  It made me realize that I'm gonna be the dork wearing tennis shoes with everything at DisneyWorld next week-my back was sore!!  Headache came on in the afternoon, but it wasn't as bad as I was gearing up for which was very nice.

Did a .25 mile warm-up, jogged 2 miles, walked .25 miles, jogged 1 mile, then did a .5 mile cool down. And this time I didn't have to stop every 10 minutes for a drink-yippee!

Not my best run, but I managed to fit something in before we left on vacation.  I can't remember what my time was, but I remember that it felt pretty good.
