I'm getting back into the groove of using the treadmill again.  Today I did more of an incline experiment.  I varied between an incline of 2 and 4-2 when I was running and 4 when I was walking.  I kept my walking pace at 4.6 and jogged at 6.2 mph.  I did a total of 3.5 miles with a total time of 38:25.  It felt pretty good, but I'm coming down with something I think.

I pushed the jogging up to 6.4 today.  I think I jogged a little more than half.  My inner legs are pretty sore,but I didn't get a chance to stretch at the end.  I even jogged with an incline of 4 for a lap, and at an incline of 3 for a little over a mile.  I'm liking the incline, but want to work on my speed too.  I am sick though, so I'll probably stick with this experiment until my lungs are more willing to cooperate.  Total time was 36:06.

Today was a weird workout. Things kept interrupting me.  I ended up doing a mixture of walking and jogging.  I kept the incline between 3 and 4 pretty much the whole time.  I end up doing 3.75 miles with total time of 44:25.

My bad eating habits are catching up to me.  Did .25 mile warm-up, stopped to stretch, then ran 1 mile at 6.2 mph with an incline of 3.  Then I walked .5 mile at 4.7 mph with an incline of 3.  Ran another .5 mile at 6.2 mph with an incline of 2, then walked another 1 mile at 4.7 and an incline of 3, then did a .25 mile cool down.  Total time was 41 minutes.  My lungs are definitely feeling it.

Felt better today.  I kept the incline at 3 when I was jogging and at a 4 when I was walking.  Pretty sure I jogged more than I walked overall.  Total time was 42:53.
